  • Adapter Board AL031S
  • 10p coin acceptor cable
  • AL55S CP faceplate
  • USB CCTALK programmer
  • Multimeter for power testing

Coin Acceptor Wiring

Every machine that supports a coin acceptor usually has 3 or 4 wires:

  • Red or yellow: +12V power supply
  • Black: Ground (GND)
  • Third wire: Coin pulse signal
  • Fourth wire (if present): Connection to a mechanical counter

Checking Power Supply with a Multimeter

  1. Connect the black probe of the multimeter to the black ground wire (GND).
  2. Connect the red probe to the red or yellow wire (+12V).
  • If the reading shows +12V, the polarity is correct.
  • If the reading shows -12V, the connections are reversed and there is a risk of damaging the coin acceptor.

Connecting Alberici to the Adapter Board

  1. Connect the machine’s +12V to the +12V input of the adapter board.

  3. Connect the coin pulse signal (third wire) to the OUT of the adapter board.
