1. Insert coin
The customer inserts one or more coins into the machine's slot.
2. Recognition
The coin acceptor analyzes:
- Diameter
- Weight
- Thickness
- Magnetic or electrical properties of the coin
Its purpose is to distinguish the genuine from the fake and recognize its value.
3. Check amount
Once the predetermined amount is collected, it sends an activation signal (pulse or relay) to the machine.
4. Device activation
The coin acceptor “tells” the machine to start – e.g. to:
- Washes car for 3 minutes
- Start a washing program
- Activate children's game for 1 round
5. Rejection or return of incorrect coins
If the wrong or counterfeit currency is inserted, it is automatically returned to the customer via a special route
